Reading logs 1

Writter used the word which Nelson Madela and his friend recalled as the beginning, Nelson Madela said that time was very painful for them, he was put in jail by conquerors who were from Europe. Invaders wanted to seek cotton, coffee, minerals from South Africa, they made the apartheid for stopping native people being against their domination. In fact, not only apartheid, conquerors also killed native people, they treated blacks as slaves, let native people to do work for them. Conquerors took away food, diamonds, and resources, left pain to native people. South Africa was suffering a catastrophe. Nelson Madela wanted to save native people, he desired fair. He studied hard since he was very young, he wanted to do something when he could.
In my opinion, I am very interested in this book, because I like history, I am interested in reading something about history, it can not only learn the new knowledge, but it can learn something, such as experience, methods, etc, from history. That time in South Africa, native people were in great pain, they had not way to fight against conquerors becasuse inferior condition and superisition, they just waited whites to decide their lives. It's a very miserable thing. Nelson Madela wanted to save native people, he desired fair. Nelson Madela was a great man, he suffered pain, then he grew up as a man. In today's world, I think everyone has ambition to make dream come true should learn from Nelson Madela, never gives up!

  3. I've read a lot about this system of apartheid (meaning 'apart") and how it was taken down officially. The problem is much like the problem in the USA: we don't officially have slavery or segregation, but we still have the feelings that are left-over from that period in history.

For South Africa, it was not too long ago, so they have even more problems than we have in the United States with racism and discrimination.
